Bali Dance Fest 2024

The Bali Dance Fest, held on June 15 & 16, 2024, at The Mansion Hotel & Resort in Ubud, Bali, was a vibrant celebration of global dance traditions and contemporary innovations. The festival featured an eclectic lineup of artists, including Barrio Lindo, Jungle Kitchen, and ACHARYA, who seamlessly blended traditional rhythms with modern beats. Attendees engaged in diverse dance and movement workshops, such as Ecstatic Dance Marathons, Contact Improvisation, 5-Rhythms, and Butoh, fostering a rich environment for cultural exchange and artistic expression.

Problem

With limited personnel and resources, we had less than two months to produce a full blown festival. This included planning and organization of more than 5 stages, 80+ artists and facilitators, social media and marketing, graphic design and video production, web development and more.

Solution

Designed custom branding for the festival and adjacent community.
Leveraged Figma for the whole social media and marketing campaign.
Designed a wide variety of assets such as posters, banners, flags, signs, etc.
Built a custom website in Squarespace.
Built an interactive oracle with creative prompts for participants with Javascript.
Automatized facilitator forms through Google Forms and Squarespace.
Managed communication channels through Whatsapp and Telegram.
